OBJECTIVE |
My desire is to give back to the campus and community which has given me so much opportunity to learn and grow. As I continue to prepare myself for becoming a global leader, I want to make sure I am able to first be a leader in my local community. Setting an example for others through the words that I speak and the actions I do each day is extremely important to me. Having the opportunity to represent my school and take part of a team of leaders with the same intentions would help me fully exercise my social skills and allow me to help others see how special Georgetown College truly is.
I can offer Georgetown College wholehearted support and a personal testimony of the positive impact that Georgetown College brings to everyone. My ability to speak without fear will help me effectively portray the image needed to be seen by whoever is listening. The image that I will portray will come with a warm smile and spirit. |

TRAINING |
Presenting for Success has given me an opportunity to get feedback from other students and the professor on how I deliver a speech.
I have been able to practice prepared speeches in front of my church on two occasions. First with an audience of 100 or more in the sanctuary and the second in front of our youth group of about 50. |

There are impressive standards of customer service and teamwork that is in place with this Christian heritage restaurant. As a cashier, I was able to develop many social skills by effectively portraying the friendly and attentive attitude emphasized by our managers. Each shift I was able to develop a joy of coming into a positive atmosphere and intentionally reflecting that positive energy from my own words and actions towards my customers and fellow employees.
